Great weekend!!
We had such a blessed weekend! The weather could not have been better. It was so warm, it felt like mid summer!! Saturday and Sunday were both in the high 80's! After my husband had a CPR class on Saturday, the three older kids went Rock Climbing at an indoor facility. I have a picture of Miranda, and I will post a picture of Eli soon. Isaiah opted out of climbing! That night we went to dinner with my sister in law for my husbands 37th birthday at his favorite restaurant (Casa Azteca). She also blessed us by babysitting them so we could have a "date night." Sunday was church of course (his actual birthday). That morning I got up early to make his cake so we could have it in the afternoon! We took him to lunch at Macaroni Grill (the kids favorite) and afterward home to relax, have more food (cake), and then off to church that night! So, here are couple of pictures from this weekend! I took them with my cell phone so they are not super clear!! Enjoy....and I will catch up with our homeschooling "routine" soon.

Haven't moved yet. Everyone likes to move really slow - paperwork has taken forever to go back and forth and has been wrong a few times so has had to be re-done, etc. We got our city inspection back today and whoever did it is being REALLY picky and we have to have all this stuff up to code AND re-inspected before we can even move in. It's been a really LONG process and now we're running out of time because my mom but in her notice at her apts. and her last day is April 30th. So I'm really hoping we can close this week, bring the house up to code this weekend and move in next weekend. That is ideally what I'd like to see happen, but nothing I've really wanted has happened that way, lol. :-P So we'll see what God has in store for us, I guess!

hey there lovely lady!! looks like a fun weekend! and happy birthday to your husband!!
Do you only do language/math in books or do you use it for other subjects? I've looked at saxon math, looks totally boring and too text-bookie! for me. But I know others that really enjoy it.
Have you done anything with your kiddos lately? Outside or other hands on stuff?

gotcha, yes that makes sense. I'll certainly be praying for you as you seek direction. This is going to be a great season for you and your children......
just now as I was typing that last line out, I heard the Holy Spirit say......don't be surprised at how I move, don't think of things like you used to, this is a new season, a new place for you to travel, I'm not a cookie cutter God, I'm not in box, I'm a big God that is always moving and doing a new thing.
Woo Hoo!!! I can't wait to hear what this new thing is for you!!! If that does in deed resonate in your spirit -- if not, maybe it was for me!!

At first I was like...huh? I can't post a comment? That's cause you have it set so only members can...and I never log in! LOL! So glad to see you here. Isaiah is taking a rock climbing class. It looks so fun! I used to love playing on the rock wall at the YMCA when I was a teen. Looks like a great weekend.....I say this now that it's Friday! Been here several times. LOL!
