Back In The Swing Of Things!!

Geesh..where did last week go? With in-laws visiting, and two sick kids, things did not go as "planned." But, that's okay...today is/was a new day!! Like every Monday, my three older kids go to art class with a wonderful girl from our church. I tell ya, it's such a blessing for us to have them take classes from her every week. They have learned so many different techniques using just watercolors. Today, their painting had to do with trees and we thought they came out so beautiful. My husband wants me to frame them, so I can't wait to do that! Here are their pictures that I want to share. They are in order by their age (lol). Isaiah, Miranda, and then Eli.

Wonderful artwork!! They did a super job, frame them for sure. My oldest used to do the same thing -- take art classes from a friend -- but she moved overseas and well that hasnt happened since, now its all mama! :-P
Sorry your kids have been under the weather......that makes mom's job a little more difficult, prayers for them to feel better.
Glad to hear things are going so well with cutting the tv back and the bible study. That morning time together in the Word is so important. I find if we do miss a day it throws us off. We are all so blessed by it -- it also is a great time to have wonderful talks with the kids, it seems almost everytime, the scriptures spark converstaion that just flows --- so I get to pour even more into their hearts and minds. And mom gets a lot out of it as well. One thing, if you don't mind me sharing, we have done is communion together when the Spirit has lead us to -- just the kids and I in the mornings --- and those couple times, oh my, it was powerful, the Spirit of the Lord swooped down, we were all in tears, but it was so special. A lot of healing has taken place in those quiet morning moments.
We've been outside more and with Jason gone last week things were off course -- and yes, he is back, he took an earlier flight out Friday and was home by 11. I've been planning a weather study, so I hope to begin that today. But once again the warm air will becon us outdoors -- probably will sit in the sun and do a little bit.
Okee Dokee --- I better stop typing......
