PARK DAY!

We enjoy our park days (even if it's just us)! I love to see my kids running around having fun, but more importantly getting out all their extra energy! We did a little bit of schoolwork this morning, but  I wanted this to be considered a "field trip" day! I'm getting so encouraged by so many of you to steer away of just textbook work. I'll have to gather the information and get all the materials we need. I already know that my kids will love to be more "hands on." Well, here is a picture of today. The weather was chilly and windy!!

I love sunflowers!!!!

Especially this one! LOL, I know this has absolutely NOTHING to do with homeschooling, but I just wanted to share this picture I took today. I just LOVE this outfit and I'm actually really bad about taking pictures of my kids! I just think the colors are so pretty and feminine.

HOME DEPOT PROJECT!

I'm so excited about the Home Depot projects for kids (especially since they're free)! My sister in law took my two younger boys this morning and they had a blast! They assembled a planter box (which they said only took 1/2 an hour) and then headed over to Michael's to get paint for it. Low and behold, Michael's had their arts & crafts going on so they were able to paint and decorate ceramic pots! So, I took a picture of them proudly displaying what they did this morning! I can't wait for next months project!
