What I did yesterday

Yesterday, I went to our grandparent's house with my brother to do some yard work. Corbin (my brother) put leaves in bags, while I ran the leaf blower. And then when we were done, our dad took us to a restaurant!

Anyway, tomorrow we're going to Oklahoma! My mom is packing right now! I can't think of anything to say right now, so I will post 10 random things I can see from here:

1. My little sister's toy cow.

2. The strawberry jelly.

3. The laundry basket on the floor.

4. The light switch.

5. Three rubber duckys.

6. My little brother's underwear. (Did I mention I had a lot of siblings?)

7. A SpongeBob Squarepants magnet.

8. Some leftover grapefruit from breakfast.

9. A pink sharpie.

10. The coffee maker.

Hmmm....

Hmmm.... I don't know what to blog about, because yesterday I blogged about all the important stuff. Oh! I've got it! I'm going to tell you that we're going to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving! We're leaving the 18th and coming back on Thanksgiving, so the trip will cost less. I'm so excited!!!!

I'm also really excited for Christmas! Here are some of the things I want:

1. A camera.

2. A metal detector.

3. A magnet kit.

Hi!

Okay, a lot of things are going on lately, and I haven't had a chance to blog.

On Saturday, we went to a wedding for our friends Emily and Jan. (Pronounced Yahn.) I've never been to a wedding before. It was really fun. My favorite part was the reception afterwards.

And then on Sunday we went to our grandparent's house for our dad's birthday. Our cousin Alyssa brought over their new kitten and we played with it.

Changing the subject, sorry about the contest on Tuesday. I totally forgot.

Ummmm.... I geuss that's all!

Music Monday!

It's Music Monday! Cue the music! Cue the confetti!

Okay, that's enough. Today for Music Monday, I am going to interview my mom!

What instruments did you play when you were a kid? I played piano, and in junior high school, I started playing the clarinet, but I wasn't very good at it. Then my teacher gave me a bassoon. But you can't march with a bassoon! So, I learned to play the xylophone, which I loved most of all.

So, you mentioned before you were in marching band. What was it like? I kind of thought it was boring. I liked the music, but I didn't like all the work. I'm not that gifted in music.
