Today I’ve come on here to lament about my cell phone. Now, it’s not like I use it a lot anyway. Mostly I just stay in touch with my siblings, whom are spread from one coast to another, and my mom.
Well, a couple days ago I was getting ready to go and take a practice drive with my Dad (currently I‘m learning how to drive) and I dropped my cell phone. The poor thing fell apart and the pieces flew in three different directions! The actual phone, the sim card, and the back of the phone. Well, everything seemed fine and I was able to put it all back together. That’s a really happy ending, if only it ended right there.
Two days later, (I really don‘t do a whole lot on my phone, nor do tons of people call me on it) I was in town with my mom and sister LA doing christmas shopping. We decided to separate and mom would call my phone if we had any questions or to figure out when we were going to meet up again. I checked my phone ½ hour after we’d separated and I saw that I had missed two calls. Well, to make a long story a bit shorter… I have no sound on my phone. So, if someone tried to get a hold of me by calling I wouldn’t have any idea, unless I looked at my phone.
Not a big deal… but I’m gonna have to figure something out.
This morning I did a little bit of research on Ron Paul. I’ve been trying to figure out how I can get involved with the upcoming elections. I did find something very interesting. There are 9 states in the United States that allow people who are 17 to vote in the primaries as long as they will be 18 by the upcoming president elections. But I was quite disappointed when I found out that Washington isn’t one of those states. Not that I expected Washington to allow it, but it would’ve been nice because I will be 18 by the time the Presidential elections roll around.
Here’s a link to Ron Paul’s website, http://www.ronpaul2008.com/, if any are interested in finding out about him. I’ve been doing research on several different Presidential candidates, and I would have to say Ron Paul seems the most interested in keeping our freedom and not sinking our country further and further into debt. Go Ron Paul!!
