I had a really nice Christmas! I wasn’t sure what I would think of this Christmas because we had no extended family with us. My Grandparents usually come down, but they weren’t able to make it. Plus, my oldest brother is in Iraq right now, so he wasn’t able to be there. That was disappointing, but not unexpected. We did get a phone call from him, that was nice! He seems to be doing fine. I miss him though. Plus, my oldest sister and her family live on the East Coast. They didn’t come down either.
This Christmas, we did something we’ve never done before. We went and saw a movie in the theater. We saw the National Treasure Book of Secrets. Excellent movie! I liked it because it had plot and wasn’t 2 hours full of special effects. I’m not a big fan of watching action action movies. I like when there’s enough of a story line that they don’t have to use a ton of special effects to make it a movie. Plus, it had Nicolas Cage, and he’s on of my fave actors to watch in a movie.
It snowed on Christmas! Not a whole lot, and not enough to do anything in. In fact, when we got back from town and the movie, it was almost all melted. It sure was pretty though!
Today it’s been snowing almost all day. It’s been going from rain to snow, and now it’s just snow. It’s also sticking a bit! Maybe we’ll be able to pull out the sleds and go sledding. Who knows,
This morning I’ve been doing a bunch of house cleaning. I also cleaned my room. My room is the size of a large walk in closet, so it gets messy real fast. I just did some clutter clean up, vacuumed the floor. Made a world of difference though. I’ve found though, a bed makes or breaks a room. You can have a somewhat cluttered room, but if you have a nicely made bed it doesn’t look so bad. But, if you have a messy bed, it can make the whole room tornado like.
Anyway, hope everyone’s having a great day!
