As Resurrection Day approaches, I am constantly being reminded of God's unending grace. When Christ gave His life as a sacrifice to cover the sins of the world, He did it willingly. Try picturing yourself being nailed to that cross on Calvary. Does Christ's death take on a different meaning? It certainly does for me. God's gift of salvation, made possible by Jesus Christ's death, is a free gift not because we deserve it. It is a gift of grace and mercy to those who become the children of God.

Let this song remind you of our heavenly Father's grace...

I have mentioned before that I enjoy watching the "Love Comes Softly" movies. They have just come out with the final two: "Love Takes Wing" and "Love Finds a Home."

The one I'm watching tonight:

I"m so excited!! It is so nice to be able to find a movie once in a while that is o.k. and clean to watch.

So, anyways, off to watch "Love Takes Wing"!

This is song our church just recently sang...not only is it beautiful to sing, but the lyrics are even more powerful. I can't suggest any where for you to listen to it, because the only time I have heard it sung by "a group," that was very contemporary, which I don't particularly like. :) But just reading the words is enough, don't you think??

Hello Again!!

     Yesterday was Day 5, and I wore a cute, flip-flop t-shirt; a jean skirt; went barefoot, 'till we had to go somewhere, and I pulled on my tennis shoes; pulled my hair up into some hair-do thing :) ; and wore a pair of silver hoops...

(again, my hair is actually darker...i think it's because of the flash)

     "Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm."   Ephesians 6:13

Hi Everyone!!

     Well, on my last post I said I would try to blog about Day 4 of the challenge, but I ended up not having time...but, anyways, yesterday (Day 4) I wore a gold and blue striped blouse, a khaki skirt,  Mom's gold sandals she gave me!, and pulled my hair back in a clip. Here are the pictures for yesterday; however, I am not sure when I'll get up today's. Anyways, God bless!!!

(My hair is actually darker than this, but I guess the flash had something to do with making it lighter.)

Hello Everyone!

     Miss Meg (Katie) asked me to blog a little about the new project she is working on. Meg is going to be writing a book called The Man I Seek. In the process of gathering bits of information, she has asked Christian young ladies to leave as a comment on her blog a 5 question survey. Included in the survey, she would like to have 5 character qualities young women are seeking in a husband. So, I encourage each of you to stop by her blog and leave her your answers for the survey...

What a task this is for her!! But, what a great subject to write on. Meg, dear, I am praying that the Lord will grant you His wisdom and courage in writing this book. Keep up the great work!!

    Well....today was the third day of the challenge!! Yippee!!!  I have to admit, it feels quite different wearing skirts all day long, when you're used to slipping on a pair of old jeans. BUT, I am really enjoying this!!! Today I wore a pink, black, and white shirt; a khaki skirt; gold, hoop-earrings; did a ponytail twist in my hair; and, since we weren't going anywhere, went barefoot all day long!! Here are the pics!!
