Deep in the mountains

You shall go out with joy!

We've been singing praise songs around here these days. One that Shane has been playing on the guitar is Isaiah 55:12 - "For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands."

The song goes like this:

You shall go out with joy
And be led forth with peace
The mountains and the hills
Will break forth before you.
They'll be shouts of joy
And all the trees of the field
Will clap, will clap their hands.

And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
The trees of the fields will clap their hands.
The trees of the fields will clap their hands,
While you go out with joy!

What would it be like to see and hear the trees clap their hands? Arel wondered if they would clap their leaves together?
And what would it be like to hear the mountains break out in shouts of joy?!
It would be quite an awesome sound I'm sure!
Surrounded by mountains it's not surprising that we'd think of this and wonder. Just look at them! God made them with the Great Flood and they are HUGE!!
mountains
May I learn to break out with shouts of joy to the Lord like the mountains and clap my hands like the trees! For He is Worthy!!

We sang this song at Sukkot.. it starts of at a mild tempo, and gets quicker and quicker.. the kids dancing to it could hardly keep up at the end..

I love those mountains.. I will truly enjoy the sound of mountains and trees clapping their hands.. in the coming days of Adonai.

So glad you shared.. it was wonderful to have the song refreshed in my mind.
