Will the calm ever come?

Since our move, our children have shown some (ok, more than just some) unlovely behavior.  It pains me that people here do not know the sweet spirit behind this ugliness.  We have seen improvement, and I have worked on being a better momma (only with the Lord's help), but sometimes I long for peace to shine through.  Perhaps if my spirit were a little more meek and quiet?

I've been wondering about you! I struggle w/a meek & quiet spirit, too. I've been reading the book & have been encouraged to focus on that more. There's so many ways to mess up!!

I also wonder sometimes when the peaceful quiet times will come. I suspect that may be when the kids are older and gone and the quiet will seem peaceful for about 35 seconds. Then I'll probably be wondering when the great joyful noise will return again!
