Turn the ice on?
My daughter is now 20months old. Hard to believe. I love this age. They are learning to talk and explore everything. She has many words and phrases and I adore watching her try to communicate new thoughts and ideas.
She has recently discovered the healing powers of ice. Any time she gets an "owie" she needs ice. The healing balm in our household. I like to use the blue ice sticks that you freeze for summertime drinks. No matter how bad the hurt, it is instantly better with blue ice. So today, she fell down and needed her ice. My 4 yo found a blue ice from a previous injury laying around and handed it to her. She looked at this room temperature stick with disgust before she carried it to me and said "Turn ON!" LOL!
Obviously, warm ice is off and cold ice is on. We switched the offending warm ice for one fresh from the freezer and she was as good as new.

What a great recorded memory ! Did you listen to Jill Novack's talk. She was the closing speaker for UHSE. It was wonderful ! It was to record down the memories like this. I am for sure going to get her book. I hope through HSB we can continue to get to know one another. May I add you to my friend list ? I would love to.
