Spent the whole morning at the park. It was toasty warm. I do love SoCal.
Needed a nap by the time I came home though. We had walked around
the park, which is fairly large by Ontario standards, twice. It's
on the SouthWest side of the city where there is still a lot of horse
property and some farms. The kids had to go visit and check out
what the farmers were doing. I love living out here. Since
we have no choice but to live in the city at least we can live
somewhere they can see open space that isn't a park or golf
course. In our old neighborhood all the open space was in the
hills and it can get boring for kids to just drive by and see it.
Spent the rest of the day sitting around. I can't believe it's
7pm already. The meds are still making me tired, on top of the
heat and Louis deciding he needed to get up and eat at 3am, I'll be
ready for bed as soon as we are done buying Stanley some new white
t-shirts for tomorrows ballet class. His are kind of spotty so I
thought he might like some clean ones. OK, he probably doesn't
care, but I do.
Please continue to pray for my friend. It sounds as if the doctor
is trying to make things difficult for them. I'll do more
research on standard proceedure (sp?) for PROM before I gripe on the
socialized medicine in Canada. Of course, I can still gripe on it
but I'd like to make sure I have my specifics correct for this case.
I was going to say something else but it has completely slipped my
mind. It's sad to be old. It's even more sad when you were
like this even when you were young.
Is Naomi's baby still alive at this point. I'm so worried... I know I quit OLL a while ago, but I still consider everyone a friend... Does Naomi have a website, where I could leave her a hug and a prayer?
