Growing up I was told that you had to dry the dishes after you washed them. Later I read that if you do that then they are more prone to bacteria and you should air dry them with a towel over them to keep the dust off. Today I read that you should dry the dishes after you wash them because if you don't the bacteria will get to them.
Oh, and every Sunday night my "friends" page doesn't work. Sometimes it just won't load, other times it loads wonky.
That's my confusion for the evening. I'm going back to making my housekeeping folder. It's quite fun...except all the diswashing confusion.
Sorry for the play on titles there (if you don't know what I'm talking about, click here).
Stan just called to say there is no Cadets. Oh, well, the rush to get them there on time after doing a make-up Ballet class was certainly exciting. hehe.
Thanks for all your prayers. I believe that this week has been somewhat productive, not in schooling but in other ways. I published my Testimony over at my other blog if anyone is interested in reading it. I'll also be publishing a few other things next week. I'm not sure what I'll do here. I usually try to keep it light on this site, just talking about school and kids and stuff. Right now is still a really intense time for me so I'm certain some of that is going to spill over here.
Well, I am dieing to read everyone's blogs. I missed the encouragement. But I have to get Kurtis to Target like I promised...long, bloody story. And I have to get the place picked up 'cuz the in-laws are coming tomorrow afternoon. That'll be interesting in light of recent events. Pray I say the right things and pray that my mil can be understanding and receptive. She has a hard time grasping just how messed up my extended family is.
Site of the day is About.com's Housekeeping site. I found this there. They have some great ideas that can get you cleaning if it all just seems like too much. I used them all day yesterday so I could at least keep from drowning under the housework.
It's been one of those days. It's turning out to be one of those years. I am afraid I'm at the point where the only thing left to go wrong in my life is the unthinkable stuff. I know God has His reasons and that I will certainly endure. But I think it might be nice to have a month where I don't feel like I got my teeth kicked in. I hope it's May 'cuz April's just been shot to heck.
I'm going to take my evening-time when I would normally spend blogging and reading and commenting on blogs to, hopefully, read the Bible and pray. This will also place me in a situation where I will not say things that later I might regret.
If you think about it, you might say a prayer for us. Thanks.
I had this great idea for an entry to submit to the next homeschool carnival but now I cannot formulate one word. That always happens when I wait to write something. When I was in school it was the same way. I would always write my papers at the last minute. I consistently got B+'s so I figured, "Why change it?" But you know those professors.... He kept harping on all those structural building steps of a good paper and finally one day I heeded his advice. I took my time and wrote my essay as commanded. I was given a B- and told to slow down. From that day forward I wrote all my papers at the last minute...even term papers.
Personally I don't plan on needing it. We are going to buy the kids one bunny each, at See's, of course. And that's it. (OK, in case all of you don't know about me and See's, I used to work there and I'm addicted to their candy. The mere fact that I am planning on stepping foot in their store will tell anyone who knows me well that the first sentence of this paragraph is laughable.)
Tomorrow - Wednesday - at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.That won't ever happen again (added) this century.
