my son, stanley, has a new pet on his blog. you'd better go check it out though because he is going to trade it in for something more "interesting." http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/stanley
Check out my new pet llama on the right. I saw these pets here and had to check it out. I chose a llama in honor of my favorite cartoon, Jimmy Neutron...hence the name.
I've read at least two blogs already this morning that linked to an entry at Diana Waring's blog. I don't want to be left out of the trend so here is the link: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DianaWaring/111731/ It really is a must read.
Have I mentioned lately that I hate the time change? Well, in case anyone forgot...I really, really hate the time change. I tried to adjust myself last night and ended up awake at, well, whatever the hour was it was waaaaaaay too early. I don't nap anymore so now I hope to finally be adjusted. Next, to adjust my kids who are still up even though the government forced me to change the time to 10pm instead of 9pm. For some reason their bodies just aren't convinced.
I had to get up and feed my son his before bed snack (sheesh, and he's not even a teenager yet) so now I lost my train of thought. This has happened to me alot today. I personally blame the time change. Did I mention that I hate the time change? Oh, yes, it looks like I did.
OK, I think I remember. I was going to link to a couple of blogs first:
Also, I have two commenters I need to respond to, which I hope they won't mind if I wait to do until sometime tomorrow. I have to find their comments then find their blogs. I might be able to do the former but it would tax my brain cells to the point of not being able to do the latter.
I need help. No, not that kind of help. Yes, that's more like it.
This totally freaked me out (not in a bad freaky way I just use that word when I can't figure out what other word to use). Kris, at Classical Education 4 Me, posted pictures of the front rooms of her house. With a few minor adjustments, it looks exactly like our house. The kitchen even has the same exact layout and drop ceiling. I will say, though, that hers is a lot better looking.
So, if you want to know what my house would look like with some wallpaper stripper, new paint, new kitchen cabinets and nice countertops...you should click here.
This reminds me of my cousin. Several years ago we went to visit him at his parents new house. As I walked in every one was staring at me strangely. I looked around and thought, "This place looks vaguely familiar." Someone mentioned that I should go look down the hall. I could not belive it. They were living in my parents' house only they were 30 miles away from my parents house. Weird.
