My husband is an unabashed, die-hard Notre Dame fan...never mind that they are like 1-50 this year...there's ALWAYS next year and next year ALWAYS looks like the best yet!  David was extremely thrilled to get to see the Irish play at UCLA while on a business trip a couple of weeks ago, and, wouldn't you know...that was their only win of the season thus far.   (We probably should mention that UCLA's quarterback was injured and they were playing a walk-on, red-shirt freshman at quarterback...or some such...but, hey, a win's a win, right?!?!?!)

We're in our 2nd football season here, and I must say, we have witnessed MUCH improvement since last season.   Joshy and Jules LOVE to block and tackle eachother.  David is still very driven to win and has gotten noticeably harder to catch given any kind of jumpstart.  Susanna has joined the team at a mere 2 yrs and 4 mo. old.  She studies the plays and has mastered the art of resting her hands on her knees (you may notice that is her pose in every one of the pictures that follow that she is in).  She tries to imitate every move David and Julia make...on a slight delay.

 Josh and Jules really had no clue what was going on around them...as soon as the ball was hiked they just wrestled each other until Daddy called the play over...but this year...NO ONE cried...MAJOR improvement!!
