A Day In The Life...

Live Birth Blog #3

Well, it's now 10:54pm EST and we have retired our cow watching for the evening.  We're half hoping she just does her thing in the middle of the night and we find her and her happy calf in the morning and half hoping she waits until we can all be there to cheer her on...I know how much I love having a cheering audience when I'm in the throws of labor...ha ha!!!

The man at the local store did mention that while the "signs" we have seen do usually indicate an impending delivery, it's possible she might hang on 3,4 or 5 more days.  So, Daddy may make it home after all.

Now, I'm reading furiously to fig'r out what to do with calf 'n cow once the whole thing happens.  Sounds easy enough on paper.

See you in the morning!
