If you happen to go to the North Carolina State Fair this year, a certain 6 year-old boy would love for you to stop by the education building to notice who won the "Chocolate or Mock Pound Cake" division for children 9 and under.

...and if you come visit us,, the same sweet 6-year-old boy might just make the award winning apple pound cake for you...and then maybe we'll get some, too!  Out of his practice run and final run creations, we ended up only keeping 1/4 of a cake...Joshy wanted to share it with everyone else !

Great job, Joshua!  We're proud of you! 

(P.S.  We haven't actually been to the fair yet...we just got the report from a friend...I'll try to post a picture when we go)
