It was a very good day, started out windy and stormy and is still windy and maybe stormy with rain tomorrow.  I worked from 8:30 to 2:30 typing oil and gas lease opinions, proofreading, typing some more, most of it from dictation hooked up to my computer at work.  I have a nice new desk and computer there and that corner of the office is mine.  Most pleasant and I get paid for it, too!  What could be better than doing something useful and getting paid for it?  I had a good long chat with my younger by 3 years sister (makes her 56 so do the math) and I realized that family is very important.  Oh, we know this but sometime we know that we know this and that's a different matter.  She asked me what I miss about our deceased dad who died of lung cancer nearly two years ago.  I told her I miss his presence.  May we all fully enter into each other's presence and beyond this have that overarching knowledge that we are in the Lord's presence at all times.  What a blessed relief to know this and to know that we know this.  Blessed assurance.  And that great family of which He is the Father, even more blessed.
