Apr. 28, 2008 - catching critters

We went to our first cookout of the season and the kids had a blast catching critters in the creek. I think the girls liked it more than the boys. Here is some of their finds.....

a frog...

oodles of crayfish or lobsters as the little ones say.

lots of minnows

There were also salamanders. All the kids went home good and dirty...a sure sign of a great time!

ooo love all the neat critters ya'll found!! It's hard to come by around here since this area is so new -- but we're doing our best to keep looking!
