No, used to whenever baking but not so much anymore although I do think they are cute.
Baking – Favorite thing to bake
Bread.....yeast and quick
Clothesline – Y/N?
No, don't even have one. Although I would like one for bedding.
Donuts – Have you ever made them?
Yes, if you count using an apple corer on biscuit dough, dropping them into a fry daddy and then rolling them in cinnamon and sugar....yum!
Every day – One homemaking thing you do every day.
hands down dishes wins.
Freezer – Do you have a separate deep freeze?
Yes, couldn't live without it, where else could we put all the venison?!
Garbage disposal- Y/N-
Yes but have never used it...bad for the septic.
Handbook – What is your favorite homemaking resource?
Hmmmm, the internet.
Ironing – Love it or hate it? Or hate it but love the results?
Confession time....I just bought an ironing board and iron this winter :O
Junk drawer – Y/N? Where is it?
Yes, antique dresser by our front door.
Kitchen – Color and decorating scheme
What was the color called.....can't remember but it's a beigey color with a cranberry accent wall and deep green trim and I like a rustic country look....like my pie cupboard with tin doors.
Love – What is your favorite part of homemaking?
Trying to have a warm, cozy place to be.
Mop – Y/N?
Yes...if you know a way around it let me know. I didn't know this could be optional!
Nylons – Wash by hand or in the washing machine?
washing machine....when a pair actually survives without holes!
Oven – Do you use the window or open the oven to check?
I open the door....I keep the light on for the kids to look in though.
Pizza – What do you put on yours?
Pepperoni or Italian sausage and green peppers
Quiet – What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?
Lately...computer or read something curriculum related (convention is next week!)
Recipe card box – Y/N? What does it look like?
I have a few things but I took my most used, separating them by meals and desserts, then copied them onto index cards and put them on a ring to keep them together. Has worked wonderfully.
Style of house – What style is your house?
Rancher :(
Tablecloths and napkins – Y/N?
No Tableclothes....I like my old handmade wooden table....every nook and cranny! Only paper napkins.
Under the kitchen sink – Organized or toxic wasteland?
Semi-organized. I clean it out once or twice a year.
Vacuum – How many times per week?
Way to many and yet not enough! Daily or every other. You know, according to my carpet installer it should be once a week for every member of the house so I should be vacuuming 8X a week!
Wash – How many loads of laundry do you do per week?
I would say 20+. I'm talking full loads too. The big question is how many hours a week do you fold?
X’s – Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?
No, only for special occasions/holidays..
Yard – Y/N? Who does what?
Yes, it is mostly hubby's territory although I do like to mow. I am often out cleaning up clutter/toys more often. He has also taken control of the garden so far.
Zzz’s – What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?
dishwasher/switch over laundry/laying out clothes for the next day.
