Watercolor painting on a Friday

Inspiration struck after we watched an instructional video on some simple watercolor techniques. We pulled out all the watercolor supplies and paper, turned on some classical music and painted for nearly an hour. Oh yeah, I could get used to this!

I'll try to take some pictures of the final products and post later.

I REALLY like your paint color choices in that room!!! So beachy! :-)

What was the video? And I see you kept up with the clear table cloth thing. Do you have to replace that often? Mine got gunked and then cloudy somehow? I haven't replaced it yet with out moves but it's something that needs adding back into the "strewing".

We are about to immerse ourselves in Sister Wendy; still haven't ever gotten her book! But we have her whole video series coming from Netflix and two of her spiritual books from the library yesterday on Saints and the Nativity. Early stuff to get a bit more into Advent this year; trying not to wait for the last minute.

That's what we were aiming for so it's nice to hear someone say that's what it looks like. :-)

Easy Watercolor Techniques with Donna Hugh. And also More Watercolor Techniques.

I got a new one for this year. The old one was pretty yucky. Mine got cloudy too. I need to put some new stuff under mine.

How's it going? Guess I'd better start thinking of advent plans too. Had a great first year and haven't really been able to do it that well since.
