Winter Be Gone!!!!

I am soooo ready for spring!  My family has been battleing some sort of minor illnesses almost non-stop since Christmas.  This is the worst year we've had with sickness.  Thankfully it's always been very minor, but still I do wish my children would get well and feel better!  My husband has a new job this year and he works directly with school age children.  Also my kids and I are around them 1 or 2 times a week.  I wonder if we're just being exposed to germs that we're not accustomed to?  Hopefully spring will be here soon!!!

Winter carries on here in Alaska. We are steadily gaining daylight and are up to nearly 12 hours a day. YAY!! The temps fluctuate from 20 below to 35 above and every warm day is a tease that spring (or "break-up" as we call it) will eventually show up.

Thanks for the comment on my blog! You have a beautiful family. If I could figure out how to post pictures on mine I would but I seem to be technically challenged. Anyway, it looks like maybe your boys are in Boy Scouts from a picture I saw. We have a great troop at our church. My girls just joined a troop at our church in November (it just started) called American Heritage Girls. It is similar to Girl Scouts, but is Christian based. I know that Boy Scouts is still Christian based, but Girl Scouts has moved off the moral radar in a lot of areas. Anyway, the girls love scouting so far. I'll check your blog soon for updates!
