Fireproof

We finally watched Fireproof last night (recognize the music?).  We weren't able to see it at the movie so we borrowed it from my brother and sister- in- law.   I thought it was a very good movie and would recommend it to all couples no matter what season of life they're in.  It's so scary how Satan wants to tear our marriages apart.  In my life it's a constant struggle trying to balance God, kids, and marriage, and Satan always attacks my weakest area (which changes from day to day).  I long for the day when Jesus calls us all home and the difficulties of life will be over.
So if you haven't seen it yet...make time to see it!

We read a lot! (As I mentioned in that post, the list wasn't exhaustive.) I don't have them do very much seatwork. You asked about our "school" day... well, we try to get in some math, whether it's hands-on, a math computer game, or a math "seatwork"-type book. Other than that, we just read (and play)! :)

We watched that last week as well and thought it was a great movie. How encouraging to see the gospel message so clearly stated! And did you see some of the bonus clips? Hilarious!

Thanks for commenting on my blog too. :-) We've had the falling out of the cart incident as well with a HUGE bonk and bump on the noggin.

As far as The Grocery Game goes, yes I use it and my friend and I own a franchise of it. I would really encourage you to give it another try and stick with it for 6 weeks. Each weeks gets easier and easier and as your coupon file becomes more complete, there will be less frustration. I usually get the early Sun edition of the paper and shop on Saturday evening or on Monday evening (avoiding the crowds). Once I got used to the set shopping days, it became a weekly thing I looked forward to while my husband had boys' night at home (actually, they like to yell BOYS NIGHT! YAY! WOOHOOOO!!!). Oh and there IS a Wal-mart list now... but I still think the double/triple deals offered by stores like Kroger beats WM hands down.

Have a wonderful week! I think I might actually go to bed before midnight tonight-- hooray for me!

God bless you, my friend.
Marsha
