Thank You...
THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH!
There are times when you just know that you need to speak up and times when you need to be quiet. There are times when the words come easily and times when they don't. There are events that beg for acknowledgment and others that do not. Today is one of those days. A day when words must be spoken, when those words come easily and when an event absolutely must be acknowledged. To what am I referring to? Today is the day that President George W. Bush leaves office. Today, I want to recognize a man that is worthy of respect and of gratitude. Today, I want to say "Thank you".
President Bush has been in office for the past 8 years. While many have attacked him on every side - MOST have attacked him on every side, our president has stood tall and not sunk to the level of his attackers. Mr. Bush, I say THANK YOU!
Thank you for serving our country so honorably
Thank you for realizing that right isn't always popular but it is right.
Thank you for showing that silence is acceptance and not sitting idly back while others sought to destroy our country.
Thank you for doing your best to protect our country from attack.
Thank you for being faithful and for being a good example of how a president should conduct himself.
Thank you for showing grace and composure amongst much pressure.
Thank you for not letting the liberal media sway you.
Thank you for being honorable.
Thank you for standing for the lives of the unborn.
Thank you for trying to uphold the sanctity of marriage.
Thank you for having a vision for our country that is based on the same vision of our founding fathers and for realizing that your actions today touch the lives of those many years past your term in office.
While you haven't been perfect, nobody is. While we may not always agree, I have never doubted for a second that you didn't seek this country's best interest in your decisions. Thank you! You have served us well. I have been proud to call you my President and I am sorry your second term is over.

About Me
I love nature, sewing, scouting and quotes...An educational system isn't worth a great deal if it teaches young people how to make a living but doesn't teach them how to make a life.
Unknown-----------------------------
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.

"I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built upon the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think. Whereas, if the child is left to himself, he will think more and better, if less showily. Let him go and come freely, let him touch real things and combine his impressions for himself, instead of sitting indoors at a little round table, while a sweet-voiced teacher suggests that he build a stone wall with his wooden blocks, or make a rainbow out of strips of coloured paper, or plant straw trees in bead flower-pots. Such teaching fills the mind with artificial associations that must be got rid of, before the child can develop independent ideas out of actual experience." -- Anne Sullivan
