A sweet memory...or The weirdest family in the county?
Ron recently found a 1960's Batman movie based on the old cheeseball TV show. They all (except Carolyn and me) loved it and I have had a house full of superheros since then. They decided to take their show on the road the other day and this is what I saw as I passed the window
Carolyn came in horrified that they were waving to the cars driving by and about that time it got even worse as we heard cars honking as they passed. Carolyn has decided that we are the weirdest family in the county with this as one of her main examples. I personally think this is one of the sweetest sights I have seen. All (well...most) of my children finding adventure together in such a simple thing as waving to passing cars. It also bought me almost 2 hours of quiet with just the occasionally shouted (it is quite a distance from the house to the road) reminders to stay on the inside of the fence.
From left to right we have Hawk Girl, Robin (yes, he was on the fence in his underwear!), Batman, Superman, and Super Girl.
