Several families that we know have all come down with a "bug". Of course, within a 48 hour period we've been around all of them. I think it's kind of inevitable that we'll eventually come down with it, too. Kind of scary. I'm feeling a bit puny but that may be the two glasses of wine talking... The 15 year old is acting puny....can't tell if that is illness or attitude.
I'm thinking I MUST be a little sick....I've been "off" for a couple of days. My sense of direction has failed 3 times in two days.
But the weekend was a semi-success....boy 4 and boy 5 got their LONG overdue haircuts. Cam wanted his short and spiky-he alternates between this haircut and his Harry Potter look. They cut so much hair off of him that they had to stop mid cut to sweep up the hair as it was a hazard to the people walking through! This haircut makes his eyes look twice their normal size which is already huge, and makes his body look even longer and thinner! But it defintely makes him more 'boyish' in appearance. Isaac on the other hand has that sad wimpy thin hair that no matter what you do with it, he'll always look like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. Really. Not kidding.
Well, I'm certainly not looking forward to a sick household but I'm up for a challenge. Of course I've agreed to drive 3 other kids (NOT my own) to school......mine is riding with a friend. Zach starts his first day a the church tomorrow. Should be fun.
The Cowboys lost. Bummer
. The garage got partially cleaned out so some friends could come "jam" with Alex. They actually sounded pretty good.
I got a few loads of laundry done.
Should be a fun week......!!!
P.S. I'm so thankful to God for all my dear friends! They all have such special and wonderful gifts from God! I am glad God brought each one to me....and I'm glad they continue to love me and see the good in me even when I'm tired and grumpy and depressed and stuck on my picky streak! Smooches to you all!!!
