Today was a beautiful day! The weather was pretty close to perfect-and those days are rare here in Houston! I got up early and made some coffee-yum! Started putting together our family's food contribution to the Welcome Pope Benedict XVI Celebration held at our dear friends the Guajardos. While I did that, Cameron worked on some of his schoolwork. Not too much fussing this morning. Headed off to the Guajardo's around 10am. They did some prayer, some reading, some worksheets, had some playtime and we all ate good food from Germany and Italy.
We made it home for just a few minutes then headed off to Katy to Alex's baseball game. It was downright chilly in the shade!
Got home to find hubby firing up the BBQ pit for some yummy pepper steaks, sausage and hot dogs. There's also leftover German Spaghettini.
There's still time to sew and relax and go over some new curriculum that just came in today (YEA!).
Hubby has surgery on his knee in the morning. Alex has an away game in the afternoon. Thursday is Museum Day. WoW!
Have a Sparkly Sky Evening
