Apr. 24, 2008 - More ideas...
Apr. 24, 2008 - My daughter and I were talking about recycling this morning, too.
I think buying used helps too, as well as passing on as much furniture, toys and clothing to others. I've been decluttering lately and it has been rewarding to pass items on to friends who can use them some more.
Buying less is something I'm thinking about, too. As well as buying quality in the first place.
I'm actually trying to keep the cloth bags in our van for grocery vans....
In Canada, pop bottles and cans can be recycled and will even make you a little money - as they are bought back. My husband was recently horrified on the job site to see a garbage can full of recyclable tins.....
Any little thing we do, helps.
Thanks for posting - you have made me think some more.
