Proverbs 31

22: She makes her own coverlets; fine linens and purple are her clothing.

*It is one of my goals to learn how to machine sew.  My mother sews and I have good memories of her sewing things our family needed.  She sewed curtains and blankets.  She sewed all of my bridesmaids dresses. She sewed all of her bridesmaids dresses and she took a very simple dress purchased inexpensively and adorned it with pearls and crystals to make her wedding dress when she remarried. 

I want to sew blankets, clothes for my boys and my Goddaughters, aprons and anything else that I can.  I have a friend who sews wonderfully!  My daughter and many of our friends daughters have been recipients of beautiful, handmade clothing!  There is never anything shoddy about her work and each outfit~esp. the girls, comes complete with accessories..matching bows and socks!  She did this even before she had children and now her adorable daughter and sons are always dressed exquisitely-and all handmade with very few exceptions!  She has also used this skill to help her family with expenses-she has taken this talent and put it to good use.  Everyone LOVES a "Handmade with Love by Nettie" outfit!

I hope to learn this skill this summer. I can only see blessings coming from learning such a wonderful skill!
