Zachary Paul

June 27, 1989

This young man is the oldest grandson on both sides of our family.  He came into this world during a tropical storm at barely 27 weeks and weighed right at 3 pounds.  His life has followed the same course and he really keeps us on our toes!  He has broken his right arm (very badly) and as a baby he spent his first 3 years in and out of hospitals.  Fortunately, since then he has been amazingly healthy!  He has really outgrown predictions-standing almost 6 feet tall...looks like a linebacker (which he played in highschool) and wears a men's size 13 or 14 shoe.

This young man has beaten a lot of odds and has been on many adventures in his 19 years.  He enjoys computers, Lord of the Rings, staff fighting, making music with his computer, anything elvish, anything Asian...he really enjoys their culture and food and movies.  He is going to college in August but is still in the process of discerning a vocation to the priesthood-a slow process but one that is life-changing to be sure.

Zachary, you make us so proud and we are honored to be your parents!  We know that you will be great at anything you set your mind to and we'll always be here to love and support you.....
