Today, the United States of America is 232 years old.  We made our annual T-shirts yesterday...they came out great!  Denise is our resident pro and all of hers came out the best, I think...but everyone's was different and very creative!  We wore our shirts to First Friday Mass this morning...we were very Patriotic.  Here are some things to do today (at least for our family):

*Read the Declaration of Independence-out loud

*Make an American Flag and Pinwheel

*Make a Berry Patriotic Shake

*Attend Mass

*Watch "The Patriot" and "Independence Day"

*Watch fireworks

*List things that you think makes the United States of America a unique and special country to live in

Today is the national celebration of our Nation's independence. As we celebrate let us remember to pray that God will strengthen and bless America and make our nation a haven of liberty and justice for all — born and unborn.
