Ohhhh, now THAT'S an interesting one! All or Nothing Day. Really makes you think, huh. One of the things that comes to mind is that I always tell my children to do their best-give it their all. What comes to YOUR mind when you hear the phrase All Or Nothing..... How about, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all..."
Today is also Aunt and Uncle Day. If you've got 'em, call 'em.
On the homeschooling front, we were in Target doing some shopping while Alex was at Drivers Ed. In their dollar bins, they had lots of useful school stuff. I was able to pick up some interesting items like flashcards, stickers and some fun magnets for Isaac. Xavier was amazed that Isaac knew all the letters of the alphabet already....he showed daddy using the new blocks I got him! I am excited about school this year, and I hope to carry that excitement into the children's daily lives.
Alex completed Drivers Ed today. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. He still needs to do lots of practice driving (with Dad or big brother), and then in December he can get his license.....scary! But, at least the class part is completed-which was the goal....to get it done during the summer so as not to interfere with school. He got his Typhoid vaccination yesterday for his trip to Jamaica next month. It will be an interesting time for him to say the least! He gets back from Jamaica on the 13 and then starts school on the 14 and has his first scrimmage on the 15......a pretty high energy schedule for my high energy son! He still has a major retreat to attend before the Jamaica trip as well!!!
Have a great weekend folks!
