New Glasses! Yes it's been about 2 years and I could tell it was time for a change so I went to the eye doctor right after the hurricane. We didn't have power but the eye doctor did! While there, the doctor found two hemmorages on my retina pretty close to the part of the eye that "sees". While it was strange-strange enough that he is sending the photos off to a retinologist, we were all amazed that my vision has actually "improved"! No signs of decaying vision. I still need bifocals (we call those "progressives" now...) but he said that I don't even need them when I'm sewing unless I want them....which is something I've found out already. Interesting.
So today I go pick up the new eyes. Should be a quiet day I hope!

X subscribes to the same theory as my dad... the eye is a muscle and wearing glasses just weakens it. :-|

Yeah!! I need new ones also. My girls were fascinated with glasses a few months ago when their friends got them. I went upstairs one day and found my glasses all broken and twisted up. Apparently, some sort of science experiment-designing atoms or something. I wear contacts during the day, but find I have problems sometimes focusing when I sew. Take care!
