Yep! It's Friday in Texas and that means High School Football! Tonight Pope John XXIII plays Bay Area Christian. It's a little bit of a drive but definitely worth it to watch Alex play.
Today, we're going to haul our recycling to the bins. I think my husband was surprised when he only had one small bag of trash to take out this morning. He tried to gather up all my boxes and stuff and I had to stop him. There is an HEB that is recycling plastics, cans and paper (no glass
). It is a bit of a drive (of course the HEB close to us offers NO recycling) but if we do it once a week or once every other week it might not be too bad. I am also going to work on decluttering the garage a bit-no one can move in there due to huge sheets of plywood left from Mr. Ike's visit! Those will HAVE to be stored somewhere this weekend!
On tap for today schoolwise, Cameron is going to do one math lesson, his history pockets, science homework and painting his box that we finally found. He is also going to look for his Story of the World book that we can't find anywhere (and we all know we've seen it recently-just can't remember where.....). Maybe St. Anthony will nudge it out into plain view sometime today-we would really be pleased if he did!
Tomorrow is another BUSY day-a huge Vietnamese wedding to attend, along with the huge reception and Alex has a youth group function in the early evening, oh and don't forget football practice in the morning!
Oh! and a BIG congrats go out to my dear friend, Denise, who found out yesterday she's having TWINS! Now she REALLY won't have time to blog!!!!! But that's ok, she'll have a great excuse! Christine and I get to hold babies!
