More Yard Work

Posted in Cleaning

The CHCHC got put off today.  My hubby was home from work.  He orded three yards of dirt.  We needed to fill in the bricks that I set up, and the garden.  The kids had a blast.  The boys helped shovel the dirt into the "wagon" as my son D calls it.

Even Princess C helped out.

Baby B didn't exactly like it out there:

There is still a lot of dirt left.  We are trying to figure where to put it.  I have already been sticking it in odd place around the yard - around my flowers, holes in the ground.....

I am so blank as to what else to type about.  I guess I should start dinner and change stinky C, and feed hungry B anyway.....

You do know how to make me feel homesick, don't you, posting those cute pics of my little grandbabies. It is warm here too but Brad's house seems to stay chilly if you are not in the sunshine. We took a long walk this morning. Everything is blooming and beautiful. The dirt could settle in the raised garden so you might want to fill it well. By the way even with all the padding you guys gave me for my bed my old mattress here is so much more comfy. This is so neat that I can read your blog to see what you are doing. Hi my grandbabies, miss you. Oh Aiboon is reading a book she listed on her blog that you might want to find at the library. Read her blog. (She told me in her comments she has a view of the sea, wow.) Blessings.

Your garden helpers are ADORABLE!!! We've been doing tons of yardwork, too. It's exahausting, but doesn't it feel good to look out the window the next a.m. and see the progress you made the day before? It looks like you have some gorgeous flower beds!

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
