Thanks for your comment on my blog. We have home schooled for over 6 years now. I just struggle so much with all the difficulties our son has. I keep forgetting that he is very different from even the other h/s'ed children. And it just gets tiring.
I'm also a devotee of S.H.E. (Sidetracked Home Executives), the book written MANY years ago that is flylady's inspiration for her site. I really don't need any help with organization anymore, just inspiration to keep doing it. Must be the phase of life I'm in. I recommend that book, if you haven't read it yet. Those sisters are a SCREAM!!!
Thanks for your kind words and your time to stop by. And congrats on losing weight. That's another 'bugaboo' in my life that I just don't have the energy to concentrate on now! For another time, I'm thinking.
I know plenty of procrastinators, but seems us get it done early people attract one another. My mom is like that, my dad is like that, and some of my best friends:)
And I will check out the Christian writer that you recommended! I already forgot her name because THE BOY was showing me his new bird card game! Thankfully I have HSB to keep it for me!
Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
