We have recently started reading out loud from the Bible, daily.  We started with a Psalm a day, and a chapter a day in Daniel.  We finished Daniel the other day, and we were then going to read about Noah, but I decided to just start at the begining.  As I am reading Genesis 1, I am thinking about how I should put the begining of time on our timeline.  Then I thought how we should write down each day.  THEN I thought, I know!  We will draw a page for each day of creation.  So we started with day 1 and my two boys drew the earth and light and dark.  Then day 2, they drew water, sky and more water.  Day 3 was land and trees, and day 4 was the sun, moon and stars.  That is as far as we got so far, but boy, was I proud of myself.  I had thought of something cool and creative that my boys loved!  D was just so excited.  He gave me a big hug and kiss and said, "Thanks mom, I just love arts and crafts."
