Blubber Blogger Update

First off, I forgot last week to post my inches lost.  I had my weigh-in at curves and they measured me as losing a total of 8 inches in 2 months.  I must say, however, the second lady who measured me, measured a LOT tighter than the first lady.  But, either way, I was excited, and my clothes are getting a little loose.

Now, for this week's update.  I did not go work out one time last week.  Between not having time and not feeling good and not having my mom here to have someone hold me accountable, I just didn't get there.  I went up on the scale, but I am not going to change my ticker.  I am just going to pretend that last week never happened, and hope I am back down by next week.  Sound good to you?  Sounds good to me.  But I am discouraged.  It is hard to get to Curves.  My husband bowls, coaches, and goes to Bible study and those take up 4 nights a week.  And then trying to time nursing and him getting home from work and dinner and then him leaving.... it's hard.

Hang in there! Sounds like you have a good attitude. Have you thought about just marching in place at home while you are watching tv? That way you can exercise without worrying about going some where and kid care. If you have a pedometer, it will keep track of how far you have gone and some activity is better than nothing!

I'm sorry last week was a hard one. Me too. I'll check back tomorrow to make sure you worked out. I'll let you know if I did too. I just got the 2mile abs walk from leslie sansone so I'm going to do that in the morning before the kids are up then the 1mi with the kids. I should be dead by Friday. ;-)

I'll be praying for you and hope you can find some encouragement in your goals.

God Bless.

Good for you! 8 inches is awesome! I totally know how hard it is to work around dh's schedule! I thought about joining Curves, but I know I would have the same problem getting there. Good for you for making the effort!!!

Don't get discouraged. You are getting in shape just by the fact that you have lost inches. And I have never seen you with this much energy after having a baby as I've seen this time, and this is number four piled on top of three others now. We can start some walking with better weather and I do have those Leslie Sansome tapes although I have no idea where I can squeeze another thing in my already overstuffed luggage. Love ya dd.

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
