Curriculum Idea

I've been looking through all my curriculum magazines trying to find the "perfect" curriculum for next year.  I am going to a curriculum fair in about a month and I can't wait.  But there are just so many things out there.  And it is hard to know what's good and what's not.  I love hearing other peoples opinions.  So my idea is that I will post what I have used and my opinions on it, and I hope that you will do the same.  So start thinking about what you will post about.  Include your favorites, and your not so favorites.  It's good to know what to avoid.  Let me know if you post on your site and I will put a link to you on my site.  You can leave a comment, or email me.

Here are my reviews: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/mistresninos/reviews

There's a movie review there as well but you can skip that. ;-) I'll be posting more in a few weeks but am very busy right now with life stuff.

Have fun at the curriculum fair.

Hey you wouldn't even have to go if you used AmblesideOnline! ;) All you need is a few books (classics that you'd want anyway) and everything else is online!! Yay! We love it. Everyone. My 2 wiggly boys and I are happy as can be with this curriculum. Check it out here: www.amblesideonline.com or you can come to my blog where there are links as well :)

Maybe any of you reading this can lead momanna98 to some other blogs that have described their curriculum. If you have read any that might be of help drop her a comment about it. Hey, what am I doing drumming up more visitors and comments for my dd. Blessings. Tomorrow at this time I will be 35000 feet in the air headed east.

I'm all for what you're doing! I've been sharing our experiences and asking
others about different curriculums on my blog. Stop by and maybe you can help me out too! :)

I really like your American Theme. It is looking good! I don't use a curriculum, so I can't participate in the review, but I am enjoying reading what others say.

I have used two curriculum books. One year we did Saxon Math. It was nice to have everything laid out for me, but a lot of repetitive work (wish we skipped once DS had the hang of it). It did help keep me on "schedule."

This year we were given an Abeka Health Book. I like it a lot. It has lots of good information in it! And brings God nicely into the information.

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
