Sleep

Does anyone else have to drag themselves out of bed in the morning - kicking and screaming?  Do you always feel like you didn't get enough sleep?  Do you hate waking up to the crying of a distant toddler?

That's me every morning.....

What time do you go to bed? Perhaps you could work harder at going to sleep earlier, it sounds like you are not getting enough sleep. I am lucky and only need about 7 hours of sleep a night. My DH needs more like 9. And they say that if you are short sleep, it is best to go to bed early, not sleep late. Don't know if that will help you or not.

Also, I agree, so much that the medical field does is because of trying to protect themselves from lawsuits. I think it is a shame that we live in a sue happy society where doctor's have to put their malpractice concerns ahead of treating people. The way I look at it is Doctor's are humans and sometimes mistakes are going to be made. As long as they have done their best, I don't understand the whole sue happy mentality. Everytime I think of the gal that sued McDonald's because she spilt coffee on her lap and how dare it be hot...it makes me hot under the collar!

Sometimes I do...I stay up very, very, very late, but this is not conducive to getting up early, so my choice is to sleep half the day away or get up early....kicking and screaming. I stay up late because it's the only time I have some quiet to concentrate and focus on peronsal projects and goals....it sure can be a balancing act for us, canit' it????

I wake up to my kiddos making tons of little noises and or fighting. I am not a morning person and they all seem to be. I don't get it.
But one day they will be teenagers and we won't be able to get them out of bed.
It is a never ending battle I think.
Hope everything else is going well and that you have a better weekend, I will pray that your kiddos will sleep in a little longer for you.
Many Blessings,
Christina
Oh, and sorry I haven't been here for a while, I will do better.

Good for you for getting your kids to use titles and ma'am and sir. I am better about remembering to get my kids to say ma'am and sir when we are out places, but not as good as at home.

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
