Stinky General Contractor
Back in January we hired a guy to do our bathroom. My hubby was too afraid he would blow up the house or something, and wouldn't touch the bathroom. The guy told us he would get to work by the end of January, begining of February. Let me ask you, would you consider it still in that time frame? Because I don't. The plumber he usually uses gave him an enourmously large estimate so he decided not to use him and to get a different plumber. That's all fine and dandy, but, he didn't decide this right away. He decided last week. The week, in my mind, that was the last week he should have started the job. He just called me now telling me everything is "squared away" and now all he has to do is go get the permits tomorrow. AAAAHHHHH!!!!!! IS THAT ALL!!!!!! He tells me that usually the village releases them the same day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? We have talked to him about how SLOW this town is and he has agreed with us, and now he is going to try and LIE to me?!! According to him, he should be able to start some time this week, if not, for sure on Monday. I'm not holding my breath..... Besides, Monday is President's Day.
