Sick

Posted in Family

Late Wednesday night, I got the flu and have been down for the count ever since.  Thursday I did manage to do some school in between naps.  But on Friday, Hubby took the day off, so I just laid on the couch and let them wait on me.  It was great.  I felt miserable, but I enjoyed every second of it.  I can't even remember ever having the flu before.  Man, is it awful.  I still feel bad today, although my muscle aches are pretty much gone.  Today was the last day to sign the kids up for baseball, so I had to drag myself out the door.  Ugh.  I am going to go lay down again.  Please pray that no one else in my family gets this.

Amen, and again I say amen. I already have had a cold and sinus yuckies for a few weeks now. Sub teaching always brings it on, too much stress. Love, Momma who should have isolated herself upstairs with a locked door and had pizza delivered through the upstairs window.

If it wasn't for the part of feeling awful, being sick might be fun. You get people to bring you things with out begging and you get to take lots of naps.
I hope you feel better soon.

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
