Happy Birthday Mom

Posted in Family

(Late)

My mom's b-day was the 7th.  My Grandma's was the 6th and my nephew's was the 8th.  If my other grandma was alive, her's was also the 7th.  I had planned on taking my mom out to lunch, but she ended up getting called in to sub.  So we just ordered pizza and let her choose whatever toppings she wanted (mushrooms, black olives, and sausage).  Yesterday we went to Joanne's to pick up some fabric and when we got home, my hubby kicked us out of the house.  He thought we were going out to eat, so him and the kids had started "cleaning".  His fist step in cleaning is making a HUGE pile of all the junk that doesn't belong in the places it is at.  That is where they were at when we walked in.  A 3 ft x 2 ft pile in the middle of the living room.  So he said I could make them lunch and then I should leave (he didn't want me to clean).  So, out to Olive Garden we went.  Anyway, hop on by my mom's blog and wish her a happy late b-day.  Being the bad daughter that I am, I didn't do this on Weds.....

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
