Well, it doesn't look good for us.  With the house market being low, and nobody wanting to move into our neighborhood, it looks like we won't be getting squat for this house.  So our choices, sell cheap and therefor buy a house we can't afford, or stay and pray hard for protection. 

We found a house we liked and put a bid on it, but someone else also liked it and the owners took their offer over ours.  It was a beautiful house in a perfect location.  It was on 6 acres.  It was the only house on the road - a gravel road.  Everything I had been dreaming of.  The kitchen was beautiful - stainless steel appliances, granite countertops.... However, I am a bit realieved that we didn't get it.  The price was on the high side and I had already been stressing over such a high mortgage payment.  If we go looking again, we will be looking cheaper.  I don't like that stress.  But, like I said, it doesn't appear that we will move.  The few people who came really liked our house, but I guess not enought to bid.
