Summer Schedule
I am currently working on a summer schedule for us. D is at the point where he has to be made to read. Gone are the days where I find him curled up with a book. So, D and N each have to read 30 min of a book I choose, and 30 min of a book they choose. Also, I want them to pick one extra chore to do each day. I am going to make a list of 14 different chores to choose from (hopefully I can think of that many). And then whoever finishes their regular chores first, gets to choose first. I will mark them off as they do it so they won't choose the same one everyday. As far as school goes, they will be writing everyday and I will read aloud (hopefully. I tend to put this one off alot.) I will choose a couple of things that they need to accomplish every week and write it on thier list. They will have all week to do these things. I am curious to see who will choose to do it sooner and who will choose to do it later. Hopefully this will teach them to do things early and not procrastinate. I don't want them turning out like me and hubby....
