Homeschooling in Illinois

GRRRR

I JUST WROTE A BIG LONG POST ABOUT HOW HORRIBLE MY LIFE IS AND IT DISAPPEARED!!!!!!   AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!   How ironic.  I didn't even do anything.  My computer just decided to change pages on me.  I am so angry.  I don't feel like writing everything all over again, so I will just post this picture and tell you this happened twice.  You can make up your own story.

yummm...sugar...must have sugar....

Maybe the post went away because no matter how awful you were feeling, writing it down was the cathartic part...maybe what you had written, you didn't really want out there for the whole world to see.

Just a thought;) Hope things are better now.

Just the fact that you had the insight to find a camera and take these pictures is great. The innocent look on your son's face is priceless! I have four kids, do cleanup a LOT around here, so I have sympathy for you. :0) Your blog is fun to read. I'll check back often and add you to my friends list. :0)

I hate when this happens. And sugar is SO hard to clean up. If you use a damp cloth, it gets sticky. If you sweep or vaccum, it spreads around. UGH.

When Miguel was 2 and we lived with my MIL, he crept downstairs, opened an unopened bag of sugar, poured it in the middle of the kitchen and swam in it. Literally. I walked down the steps and saw a toddler in a diaper doing swim motions on my MIL's kitchen floor in a pound of sugar.

I wasn't in the mood to take pictures.

I'm glad you got all that AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH-ing out though, even if it didn't get erased.

HUGS!

My computer eats things too. I think it has something to do with not getting fed the right info, but I can't figure it out.
Hope you day is better now..

Ah...now just look at that sweet little face. How bad can it be? I mean...really? Not all that bad. You're just being tested. Did you pass? (That's what I tell myself all the time when things go wrong, like husbands being angry, horses kicking each other and sheep getting loose all at the same time!)

Thanks for the comment earlier :)

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 1/2 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L 1, and a new little blessing due Jan 31. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
