We found the most beautiful, perfect house. It has four bedrooms, a den (school room), living room (for my mom), family room with one wall fireplace, one wall bookshelves and one wall windows, beautiful sunroom leading out to an inground pool with waterslide and maintenence free deck, master bedroom with bath and spa room (with spa), dry, gigantic basement with possible 5th bedroom, and all afforadable. But, we will not be purchasing this house. It has neighbors on either side, it's only on 1 acre of land, it's on a busy road and it's across the street from a noisy grainery. Boy, were we heart broken. The house couldn't be more perfect. The location couldn't be more rotten. We looked at 8 houses, and one we liked, but it had a lot of work to do. Things like tear down a giant rotting falling down barn and other such buildings, tear up blue flooring to reveal (hopefully) wood floor. Tear down wall paper and then probably the walls would come with it and then put up dry wall. Update the bathrooms. Fix the gutters. We liked it because the kitchen and dining room where HUGE. And it was on a quiet street with no neighbors and 3 acres. It was kinda funny because when we left we were thinking about all the work it needed and we were trying to remember why we liked it. We still aren't sure why, with all the work it needs, we would even consider it. What made it stand out from the others? Hmm... dunno. It's just the feeling we got when we walked in. But, we will keep looking, because, like I said, it was alot of work. Next week we are going to look at one we looked at a long time ago and see if it was secluded enough for us. We have seen too many houses. We can't remember all the details. The different details are all floating around in my head. And we still have time because there have been no bites on our house.
