Baseball ended a month ago, and yet, it's not over.... D made the tournament team.  He wasn't going to, but one of the kids that did make it, coudn't commit.  So we were excited because the tournament kids are "the best of the best".  But we are just so tired of practices and games and the busyness.  We keep saying, it's almost over, but it keeps dragging on.  We thought this weekend was the last, but now he has a game Wed.  And if they make it far in the tournament, they will play even longer.  Last week, the played a tournament and lost 2 and won 1.  This weeks tournament they played one last night and won, and now have one today and one Wed.  The tournament games are actually much more exciting than regular season games.  There is alot more chearing, and since the kids are all good, they are making plays and scoring runs.  D has such a cool uniform.   Hmm.. I was just going to post some pics, but it turns out I don't have any pictures of him actually playing.  I guess that's what I will be doing today.

I never got a chance to post that, so here's the update.  They won yesterday!  Which means they advance to the next round.  Which means they now have a game on Saturday.  Which means... more baseball....

And here is a video of one of his hits.  He went 2 for 2.  They ended the game early because of the slaughter rule!  As soon as you hit play, he hits the ball and scores a run, so watch carefully.
