Self Disciplined

Posted in Family
I started putting Toddler B against the wall when he would throw a fit.  I only started a few days ago, but he learned quick that the wall was the place to go when he was unhappy.  Just now, Princess C and him were not getting along too well.  I look over and he had put himself against the wall to whine!  When he was done, he got off and went to find something else to do.  Hmm... is he going to be my easiest one yet??

Wow! That's amazing!

Thanks for praying for me...that is really sweet;) This is the first month that I've said, "I want to get pregnant".

Dh put in a job for Indiana, but we won't find out for a few weeks. We're hoping if he doesn't get that that we'll end up in IL or OH but there's no telling with the military!

Occasionally Katrina puts herself in timeout, but it is often just a ploy for attention. She has a temper and will hit her brother if he is fretting her or if she thinks he is fretting her. We contiue to work on this.

That's great that you have one who is recognizing when he needs to step away. I need to do that myself sometimes. It's a lesson good for life!

That's an awesome tip. So much better than my just ignoring a baby flung on the ground. LOL No, seriously, I'm going to use your idea!

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 1/2 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L 1, and a new little blessing due Jan 31. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
