Princess C's Yucky

Princess C had a candy yesterday that made her mouth and lips bright red. It looked like she got into lipstick. I told her to go look in the mirror, and after a few minutes I followed her into the bathroom. I opened up the mirror so she could get a better look at herself. I was talking to her as I was fiddling with something inside the mirror.
Me: Aren't your lips so red?
C: Yeah! Even my yucky is red!
Me: Your what?!
C: My yucky. See.
So I turn to look and I see her letting spit drool out of her mouth and without thinking about it I exclaim, "YUCK!" Oh, no wonder she calls it her "yucky".

Funny:) You know me I would be worried about the clothes getting "yucky" on them.

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 1/2 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L 1, and a new little blessing due Jan 31. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
