Baby Name Help!

I am desperate. I need a name for my child! I don't know how large families keep coming up with names that they like. For some strange reason, I keep liking names that have already been taken by family members. Why? Maybe cause I'm just plain crazy. I also tend to like any name that starts with a C. Well, if you know my sister-in-law, you will understand why I really need to stay away from C names. We made an exception for Princess C because we couldn't come up with anything else. So, please, tell me some suggestions. I would love a name with a great meaning, not in the top 10, and not really weird. But, I'll settle for a name both me and hubby can agree on. Go ahead, give me your best shot. By the way, hubby doesn't like anything. Not one. single. name. Good luck!

We were going to name Katrina "Sarah Elizabeth" before Daniel's cousin had a daughter and stole the name out from under us. My mom was going to name my twin "Angela Dusk" if I had one (she likes being prepared). My name is Melissa Dawn.

I just realized that I am not sure if you are having a boy or a girl. I just had some girl names on the top of my head. I am not so good with boy names. It took us forever to come up with John Gordon (named him after my dad and my husband's dad...both of their first names).

I just found your blog so I don't know if you are having a boy or girl, but these are names that we liked that started with a C (for a boy).

Cyrus, Cedric, Cormac, Corbin

I don't know the names of your other children to see if any of those flow nicely.

We tend to like unusual names, our kids are Ryleigh (girl), Avery (g) Marek (b) and Cyrus (b). I love picking out new names though. Some others that we discussed were:

Huxley(g), Declan(b), Lorelai, Delilah, Quinn(either), and Harper (g)

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 1/2 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L 1, and a new little blessing due Jan 31. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
